  1. What exactly is Fitness For Keeps?

Fitness For Keeps is a training video depicting the synergistic system developed by Steven Myhre to build and maintain his ageless physique. It has three main sections; Motivation, Diet & Nutrition, and Gym Exercises. Use of this system has allowed Steven Myhre to build and maintain a body that looks at least 20 years younger than his actual age. It is designed for adult men and women of virtually all ages and is specifically targeted at beginners and those who have previously tried fitness programs unsuccessfully.

  2. Is Fitness For Keeps a "home workout" video?

Yes, and no. The video has three main parts. The motivation and the nutrition sections can definitely be done at home. The exercise segment is designed for beginners, using gym machines, not free weights. If you have gym equipment at home, then you can also do this section there, as well, otherwise the exercises should be done at a gym, under the care of a Certified Personal Trainer.

  3. Why is this video not specifically a "home workout" video?

Steven Myhre is attempting to show you, the viewer, what he has done to build and maintain his ageless physique. He, like most people with muscular bodies, got his shape at the gym. Very few people actually build their bodies on a mat, in front of the TV watching a fitness video. It is his choice to show you the real way that real people build real muscles, and that is at the gym, not in your living room. He is showing you the program he actually uses.

  4. Is Fitness For Keeps just for middle age persons?

Absolutely not! The video is designed for adult beginners regardless of their age. It has training tips for various age groups, beginning with age 20. For those 40 and older, Steven Myhre's Age Progression System can be employed to put less stress on your joints as you work out.

  10. Is Fitness For Keeps a weight-loss system?
  11. This video is a fitness video designed to help you build and tone the muscles of your body. It is not specifically a weight-loss system, but by following the bodybuilding plan and the dietary suggestions shown in the video, you should increase your metabolism, which should help you control your weight. Steven Myhre will offer suggestions on how you can change your diet by incorporating healthy eating habits and by replacing snack food with healthy fruits and nuts. He will also explain how to read the food values listed on product packages and how many fewer calories you will need to eat each day in order to induce a healthy rate of weight loss. By following this plan and thereby increasing your metabolism your body will burn more calories, even at rest, which makes dieting and weight loss even easier.

  14. If I purchase this video and follow Steven Myhre's plan am I guaranteed to improve my body?
  15. There are no guarantees, of course. Results vary dramatically among individuals. Your success will relate directly to how well you apply the plan, how hard you work out, and how diligent you are in maintaining a regular workout routine. For best results, Steven Myhre strongly recommends that you work under the care of a Certified Personal Trainer, at least in the early stages, so your form can me monitored and so that the Fitness For Keeps System can be modified for your individual needs and limitations. The video even offers a section on how to choose and find your own personal trainer.

  16. If I do the exercises correctly is there still a chance that I will injure myself?
  17. When you engage in any physical activity there is always the chance that you will injure yourself, even if you do the activity exactly right. You are much less likely, however, to incur an injury if you do use correct form. One of the video's primary objectives is to help you get started so that you won't injure yourself, so Steven takes great care in demonstrating correct form when explaining the exercises.
